Ideal Vision Visit to Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronic Engineering Technology (FTKPM) University of Malaysia Pahang (UMP)

Our Managing Director, Mr. Edmund, Business Development Manager, Ms. Law, and Engineer, Mr. Lim, recently paid a visit to the Faculty of Engineering Technology and Built Environment (FTKPM) at a prominent Malaysian university. The delegation was warmly received by the Dean of FTKPM, Professor Associate Ir. Ts. Dr. Faiz Mohd Turan, the Deputy Dean of Research, program leaders, and several staff members from the Intelligent Machines and Advanced Manufacturing Systems (IMAMS) Lab.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss potential academic collaborations between Ideal Vision Integration and FTKPM. The delegation was particularly interested in exploring opportunities for a Work-Based Learning (WBL) program for the engineering technology program at FTKPM. This program would allow students to gain practical, hands-on experience in real-world engineering settings, while also earning academic credit towards their degree.

In addition to discussing the WBL program, the delegation also explored opportunities for research collaborations between the two organizations. FTKPM has a strong reputation for cutting-edge research in engineering and technology, and the delegation was eager to learn more about the university’s ongoing research initiatives. During the visit, the delegation was given a tour of several laboratories at FTKPM, including the IMAMS Lab, where they had the opportunity to see some of the latest equipment and facilities that could potentially support collaborative research projects.

Overall, the visit was a great success, and both parties expressed enthusiasm for the potential collaborations that could be developed in the future. With a shared commitment to advancing engineering and technology, Ideal Vision Integration and FTKPM are well-positioned to create innovative new programs and research initiatives that could have a significant impact on the field.
