Supporting Health from the Inside Out at Ideal Vision
Ideal Vision reaffirmed its commitment to employee wellbeing by organising a comprehensive Employee Corporate Insurance Briefing together with Health Talk and Health Screening, held in collaboration with Penang Adventist Hospital.
The session began with an Employee Corporate Insurance Briefing conducted by Prudential, where employees were briefed on their corporate insurance coverage and employee benefits. The briefing provided clarity on available protection, coverage details and how employees can make informed use of their benefits.
This was followed by a Health Talk titled “Ergonomics and Spine Care: Promoting Healthy Posture and Spinal Wellbeing”, delivered by Dr Ooi Teng Hong, Senior Physiotherapist at Penang Adventist Hospital. Drawing from clinical experience, Dr Ooi shared insights into spine structure, common postural issues in the workplace and practical workstation ergonomics. Employees gained a better understanding of how daily habits and proper posture can help prevent long-term musculoskeletal issues and support overall spinal health.
To complement the knowledge-sharing sessions, a health screening was conducted in collaboration with Penang Adventist Hospital. The screening assessments allowed employees to better understand their current health status and receive personalised advice from healthcare professionals.
The programme reflects Ideal Vision’s ongoing efforts to foster a healthier workplace by combining awareness, prevention and early detection. By partnering with trusted healthcare providers, the company continues to promote a culture where employee wellbeing is valued alongside professional growth.
