On the 17th of August 2024, Ideal Vision celebrated its 10th Anniversary Annual Dinner at Ascott Gurney Penang, marking a decade of achievements and growth. Themed “An Indiana Jones Gala Adventure,” the evening was filled with excitement and recognition.

In his speech, CEO Edmund Yuen reflected on the company’s journey, highlighting the need to uphold values such as Courage, Visionary, Strategic Thinking, Execution, Adventurous Spirit, Teamwork, Accountability, Trust, Creativity, and Perseverance to continue driving success. He acknowledged the remarkable growth, the milestones achieved, and the relentless dedication of the team.

Held in Plenitude Ballroom 1, the venue was decked out in Indiana Jones-inspired decor. Attendees dressed as explorers and adventurers enjoyed a variety of international dishes from the buffet. A photobooth with a temple backdrop added to the evening’s adventurous theme.

The evening included adventurous challenges to determine the winners of the highly anticipated Lucky Draw Treasures. The Ancient Symbols of Fortune allowed Apprentice Explorers to select symbols that determined the treasure they would receive, the Ancient Cipher Challenge, required Rookie Explorers to solve hieroglyphic ciphers while the Temple of Fate, brought Seasoned Explorers to a customized snakes and ladders board where they ascended the board in hopes of claiming the top prizes. These challenges determined the winners of treasures, ranging from Boss Bounty, Diamond and Platinum to Emerald, and Sapphire Treasures which included prizes such as cash, vouchers, and the latest gadgets.

The final Boss Bounty Challenge saw two finalists competing to win the Boss Bounty Treasure, a Proton Persona car， sponsored by our CEO. With the crowd on edge, the finalists took turns in a nerve-wracking attempt to unlock the treasure chest holding the car keys with their chosen keys. As tension filled the room, each key turn brought cheers or gasps, until one courageous explorer unlocked the treasure chest, claiming the Boss Bounty Treasure.

In recognition of loyalty and commitment, Ideal Vision also presented the prestigious Long Service Award to employees who have served for 10 and 5 years, for their dedication, hard work, and contributions that have helped shape the company’s success. Two outstanding employees were also awarded the Best Dressed Award for fully embracing the theme.
